Bella Shmurda has pleaded with the Nigerian Police Force to detain Sammy Larry, Naira Marley, and their associates.
After his friend and fellow entertainer Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, he had been relatively quiet. In a series of tweets, Shmurda has recently turned to his Twitter account to demand justice for Mohbad. He emphasized that the deceased’s spirit had been present and had been calling for the arrest of people who had. Made his life miserable while he was still living.
According to Shmurda’s tweet, “I’ve been doing my best not to carry a phone and type anything in the last. Few days, but Mohbad spirit won’t let me rest knowing I’m the only one who can make his spirit quiet by doing those of things.
Who made him live in constant danger, nearly without anything to eat or drink, or rest, and he didn’t start? I mean, wahaLa just wan start like this I NO GO GREE and I mean it Samlarry and the entire. Marlians band must be jailed.
He then called on the police to get involved and end their ‘nonchalance’ on the matter, noting that he has. Not had peace of mind since Mohbad died because his spirit has been calling for justice. This comes after he canceled his Canadian tour due. In another tweet, he vowed to get justice for his friend who had submitted petitions to the Nigerian police while he was alive. And fearful for his life.
To the tragic occurrences.
“I have been thinking about what to do for the past few days while waiting for the authorities of the. Nigerian police or at least get one or people involved in maltreatment and malicious act against Mohbad,” he said. “Since he died his spirit has not left me saying a lot of things in my head pointing hands to. People that need to be dealt with in my dreams. Mohbad submitted lots of petitions against these people but the Nigerian police are so driven with nepotism and corruption.
As evidence of their guilt in relation to the accusations made against them, he said, Naira Marley and his contemporaries should be prohibited from entering Nigeria in the future.
Following Mohbad’s passing, a number of films of the late singer were made public, allegedly documenting the mistreatment he endured at the hands of Bob Marley’s record label.
The plea Mohbad submitted to the police asking for protection from Marley was made public following his passing, further incriminating Marley, Sammy Larry, and his record label. Since then, there has been a widespread call for an investigation into Mohbad’s death and the detention of those responsible.
