Celebrities react to the death of Mohbad.

Numerous Nigerian celebrities have turned to social media to express their shock at the sudden passing of singer/rapper Mohbad, real name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba.

On Tuesday, September 12, the former Marlian Music signee reportedly passed away at the age of 27. The exact cause of his passing has not yet been determined.

Unconfirmed sources state that Mohbad went to the hospital on Tuesday to receive treatment for an infection he contracted as a result of an injury.

According to additional accounts, he received an injection at the hospital, but following treatment, he reportedly passed out and didn’t wake up.

Because of his passing, Nigerians—especially those in the entertainment industry—have been compelled to express their shock on social media at the musician’s untimely passing. The musician left Marlian Records in 2022.
