Davido pledges to reward the young cyclist that cycled from Benue state in order to see him.

International superstar Davido has responded favorably to the cyclist’s decision to ride a bicycle from Benue to Lagos in his honor.

In an effort to attract the singer’s notice, the cyclist, Emmiwuks, had been tweeting about his achievement. He eventually succeeded, but when the singer urged him to turn around because he was not present, his aspirations were destroyed.

Emmiwuks, who had already traveled for eight days, showed no signs of stopping. “Am not going back Boss I must present my gift to you @davido Benin state heading to Ogun any moment from now,” he wrote in response to his idol’s tweet.

Davido gave in and requested his bank account information, telling him to return to Nigeria and complete his travels there.

“I WILL BE RIDING BICYCLE from Benue to Lagos Which is about 802.7km that is 13hours 3mins journey by car. With aim of presenting gift with a word of congratulations TO davido moreover #OBO #30BG For this his wonderful sweet. Album #timeless Am having Just a few weeks to go,” the determined cyclist wrote when announcing his journey in June 2023 on his page.

He set out from Benue to Lagos at the beginning of August on his dependable bicycle. However he updated his Facebook every day with updates on his progress, backing up his location with images and videos.

Emmiwuks is scheduled to continue his travel from Benin to Ogun state as of the time of this report.
