ID Cabasa openly speaks on his fallout between 9ice and Toni Payne.
Olumide Ogunade, a seasoned musician and music producer better known by his stage name ID Cabasa, has commented on the dispute involving 9ice and his ex-wife Toni Seun Payne.
He revealed details of the contentious split between his pal Abolore Akande, aka 9ice, and his ex-wife Toni Payne while speaking with media personality Chude Jideonwo. He stated that if he had been present, the consequences wouldn’t have transpired, and he expressed his grief over the situation at the time.
They emphasized how close Toni and 9ice were before it occurred and described the repercussions as being extremely unpleasant. Additionally, Cabasa admitted that when the two disagreed, he was originally upset with his signee 9ice for letting the good woman he had leave.
“I’ll give some insights today which probably I’ve never shared with anyone,” he said of the episode, “because Seun was 9ice and 9ice was Seun. Both of them were good together.
By the way, both of them are still very fine now. Ah! They’re ‘padis’ now. But that particular episode, when I heard that all of that stuff happened, I was angry, mostly with 9ice. Because I felt in my head that look, guy, you’re one of the luck
There were claims made at the time that 9ice’s marriage to Payne had broken down as a result of her. ‘Cheating on her husband’ with another musician named Ruggedman. Payne, though, vehemently refuted the accusations.
On her Instagram page, she once attacked detractors for rehashing previous charges and accusing her of cheating on the Gongo Aso musician.
She wrote: “One of the most annoying things I have to deal with is some random idiot coming on my page to accuse me of cheating on my ex, something that never happened. I don’t know how many times I have to say this. It’s been 10 years, move on and stop accusing me of cheating on my ex-husband, 9ice.”
They had a son named Zion while they were together. The pair was married in 2008, but the marriage fell apart in 2010 after the allegations of adultery surfaced. Now that they have both moved on and remarried, they are reportedly on excellent terms while co-parenting Zion.
