IYABO OJO CONTINUES VACATION AMID NAIRA MARLEY’S LIBEL ACCUSATIONS.

Notwithstanding recent accusations of defamation from singer Naira Marley, Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo is still having a great time on vacation with her partner Paulo.

The reality TV star captioned a video she posted on social media that featured events from her relationship with her lover. Ojo also expressed her excitement for her December 21, 2023, 46th birthday.

“Adiposing UB and welcoming US. With my beloved @pauloo2104, my darling, my love, my support, and my overall delight, my vacation has officially begun. 

Yes, the countdown to my birthday has also started. “Until further notice, I’m off the grid,” she captioned the photo. 

Ojo and her partner commenced their vacation on December 11, 2023, at Oniru Beach in Lagos State following their time. There, they traveled to the United Kingdom and subsequently flew to the United States of America.

While on vacation with her partner, Ojo received a letter dated December 12, 2023, accusing her of libel for ₦500 million from Naira Marley. 

The musician claimed that Ojo’s remarks from September were defamatory and negatively impacted his brand and reputation through his legal counsel. 

At the time of singer Mohbad’s demise, these remarks were made. Marley is now requesting compensation in the form of. A retractions and a public apologies. Marley further threatened to take legal action if these requirements were not fulfilled in seven days.

“In the eyes of the law, the Resident Electoral Commissioner is on his own. He should be allowed to take responsibility for his illegal and unlawful act,” stated Justice Awotoye.

The unanimous ruling rejected the appeal and ordered Binani and the APC to reimburse Governor Fintiri and the PDP ₦1 million in costs.

Fintiri’s status as the legitimately elected governor of Adamawa State is cemented by this decision, which comes after Binani’s appeal. Was previously denied by the Adamawa State Governorship Electoral Petitions Tribunal in October.
