Calling out Beyonce for her snub, Jay-Z said, “Most Grammys and never won album of the year”
American rapper Jay-Z addressed his wife Beyonce’s failure to win the biggest Grammy award during his winner’s speech.
The 54-year-old, real name Shawn Carter, arrived on stage with his daughter Blue Ivy to accept the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, which honors his accomplishments in the music industry.
While acknowledging that he was honored to receive the award, Jay-Z urged the Recording Academy to “get it right” in his remarks.

He mentioned how his wife made history by taking home a record 32 wins at the previous year’s ceremony, saying. “I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year.”
“Consider that. Album of the year is something that most Grammy winners have never won.
“A portion of you will return home tonight feeling as like you’ve been defrauded, while others may not fall into that group.
Jay-Z once said, “When I’m nervous, I tell the truth.”
In addition the artist from Empire State of Mind stated, “We’ve got to keep showing up,” outside of the Grammy Awards.

“You just have to keep showing up in life,” he remarked. Simply keep coming.
In order to win a Grammy, one must consistently attend the ceremony until they bestow upon you all the honors. Due to you—you must be referred to as chairman, a genius, or the greatest person of all time. Feel my presence.
Jay-Z expressed his gratitude to the Black Music Collective and US rapper Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, during his speech, stating, “Hopefully, I’m adding to what you guys are doing out here.”
He continued, mentioning the Grammy Awards: “We want y’all to get it properly. We cherish you all. Get it almost right, at least. It’s also evidently subjective because it’s music. It is also opinion-based.
Later, as a celebration, Jay-Z was caught on camera sipping from his Grammy prize.
