Born in Nigeria, Amaris is the first child of Nigerian artist Johnny Drille and his spouse.

However the announcement that their baby girl was born on November 17, 2023 was made by Drille on Thursday, December 28, 2023, in a touching Instagram post. Parts of his wife Rima’s prenatal experience up until Amaris’ delivery were included in the leaked video. As he focused on his newfound calling as a father, he showered his infant.

He started off by saying, “AMARIS ESOHE IGHODARO | 11.17.23 Today, six weeks ago, we held our daughter in our arms for the very first time.”

Though difficult to describe, it’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever encountered. I have never had a stronger need to care and protect. I ask God every day to help me be the best father I can be for our daughter.

He continued to gush over his wife, highlighting her elegance and fortitude in accepting motherhood.

Dear @rimouuune, I’m in complete admiration of your fortitude. Over the past few months, I’ve witnessed you go through a lot of agony, yet you persevered for both our child and for me. I’ve been observing your graceful transition into parenting. Raising this child with you has a greater sense of excitement,” he remarked.

Moreoever the singer’s admirers, followers, and fellow celebs were ecstatic to hear the good news, and they flocked to his comment area with congratulations and well wishes.

Along with sharing photos from her pregnancy session, Rima flaunted her round tummy. However in one of the pictures, Drille was seen giving her baby belly a gentle kiss.

Drille and Rima, the Mavin Global director of A&R, were married in 2022 and managed to keep their union a secret until July 2023, when they celebrated their first anniversary. Their small family of two has now expanded by one after the announcement went viral on the internet.
