Joyce Ijeoma, Nigerian Masseur Collapses in attempt to break Guinness World Record.

Joyce Ijeoma, a Nigerian masseuse, failed in her bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest massage hours. Before she passed out, Ms Ijeoma had worked for more than 50 hours.

When Ms. Ijeoma fell while live-streaming her attempts, a video went viral.

The masseuse tried to beat Alastair Galpin, who held the record for the longest massage ever performed in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, with a time of 25 hours, 4 minutes.

Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, broke the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual) in June of last year with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes, according to Guinness World Records.

The 26-year-old Nigerian chef worked in the kitchen for four days, from May 11 to May 15, producing over 100 pots of meals.

Hilda made an effort to break the 100-hour record. However, because she unintentionally overstayed one of her rest periods early in the effort, approximately seven hours were subtracted from her final total.

A Nigerian masseuse named Joyce Ijeoma was assigned to massage various people in Lekki, Lagos, for 72 hours.

She began on Saturday, July 1, 2023, and passed away on July 3, 2023, a Monday. A widely distributed video depicted her collapsing from weariness at around the 1:30 a.m. mark of the 50th hour.

All of this emphasizes how difficult it is both physically and mentally to complete a Guinness World Record.

After Hilda Baci set a new mark for the longest cook-a-thon in May, there was a sudden surge. In Guinness World mark attempts. In June, she received her certificate and the designation of record-breaker.

At 25 hours and 4 minutes, Alastair Galpin now holds the record for the longest full-body massage. In November 2015, it took place in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Ijeoma may have, albeit laboriously, smashed the world record since she persevered for 50 hours.
