Mavins record artiste Crayon( Charles Chibueze Chukwu) disclosed his past state of depression when struggling to gain university admission in 2015.

Crayon, a recording artist for Mavins Records, has said that in 2015, while he was having trouble getting accepted to college, he went through a melancholy episode.
In an interview with Cool FM, Charles Chibueze Chukwu, also known by his stage name Crayon, disclosed this information.
He talked about how not being accepted into the more prestigious institution affected his mental health and how he felt. Left out because all of his buddies were getting in while he wasn’t.
He stated, “I believe it was because I was unable to enroll in the university. All of my pals were in school at the time, and despite being the youngest, we were all quite close. It was always enjoyable when they were there, but everyone was admitted to the university. Some were in Benin, while others were in Ghana.
The 22-year-old continued by emphasizing how monotonous and lonely it had been since his pals left for their respective universities. His mental health was negatively impacted by being alone and not having any passion projects. He had to rewrite his JAMB five times because he wasn’t passing it, which had an impact on him as well.
“So it was just me alone in the neighborhood, and it was so boring,” he continued. I was without a place to go or something to do. At the time, not even my football career was flourishing.
The singer even admitted that, prior to his great break in music, he played football. He did, however, mention that several unscrupulous activities in the industry here in Nigeria caused him to face a career brick wall. This further piled on the problems that were already causing his health to deteriorate.
Thankfully, in May 2019, after signing with Blowtime Entertainment, a label under Mavin Records, he received his big break in. The music industry.
