Nigerian Hip hop Rapper Blaqbonez claims that there is no true love in Lagos.

Blaqbonez, a well-known hip-hop performer in Nigeria, has brashly asserted that real love is unattainable in Lagos.

The rapper discussed his opinions on the matter in a conversation with well-known podcaster Fay Fay, citing his experiences in different other Nigerian states.

Blaqbonez claims to have experienced true love in the states of Nasarawa, Adamawa, and Akwa Ibom.

But he was adamant that he had never seen true love in Lagos. He said, “I have seen true love, you know, in other states, like Nasarawa, Adamawa… I think I have seen a little bit in Akwa Ibom, but I have never seen it in Lagos.”

In a different incident, the Commander crooner gained attention when, while appearing on the Nancy Isime Show, he shared his unusual viewpoint on marriage.

Blaqbonez stated that he would be content with a marriage setup in which he and his wife had separate bedrooms.

I will get married, but it will be like a different kind of marriage. For one thing, when I am married, I don’t want to be in the same room as my wife.

The artist emphasized his preferences for aesthetics and personal space when asked why. Separate rooms would allow him to discreetly pursue his interests, but also alluded to his polygamous inclination.
