Nollywood Movie Actor, Joseph Benjamin reveals how he became a Uber Driver in the United States of America.

Actor Joseph Benjamin from Nollywood has explained why he chose to work as a cab driver in the United States.
On the most recent episode of the Teju Babyface Deep Dive podcast, which is hosted by the comedian, Benjamin 46, who moved to America in 2016, disclosed that he drove cabs to pay his bills.
“The promised that I would have several gigs waiting for me when I got to America. I thus believed I would land gently. I got a one-way ticket, packed up all I owned from Nigeria, and traveled to America.
“Was given a nicely furnished home and everything else. The individual I was meant to book a deal with then informed me two days later that “those our financiers have pulled out.” They have a problem.
Then i asked, “So, what should I do? The price of the one-month rent was equal to a year’s worth of rent in Nigeria. He said, “From next month on, you will have to start paying rent in this house.”
“I’m thinking, ‘I’m not making any money, what do I do?'”I’m at a loss on what to do. I had to figure out what to do after being thrust into that world. Where might I go? No need to
My phone was ringing with questions like, “When are you returning to Nigeria? I only brought $1,500 with me when I arrived in America. How can I purchase a flight back to Nigeria?”
Benjamin went on to claim that in order to pay his bills in America, he finally started driving for Uber and Lyft as well as working as an Amazon delivery guy.
Then someone offered me a car, he said, “My. What should I do with the car, I wonder? They added Uber. To pay my bills, I drove for Lyft and Uber.
“I transported many Nigerians; my Uber app name was Joseph. They recognize I’m the one as soon as they enter the vehicle or after three minutes have passed.
“One woman had to even phone her husband before she agreed to take photos with me. Even some of those around me told me, “Boss, you’ll make it.”
