Nollywood Veteran Actress Rita Edochie shows support for Yul Edochie's first wife.
Rita Edochie, a seasoned Nollywood performer, has revealed that Yul Edochie’s divorcée May will soon return to social media.
She supported May by releasing a video montage of her images on Instagram to demonstrate her support.
She blew fanfare for her “darling daughter” in her caption and mentioned that Yul’s ex-wife will soon be back online and available for endorsements and business transactions.
“HURAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY. MY DARLING DAUGHTER QUEEN MAY WILL FINALLY BE BACK ONLINE TODAY AND VERY VERY STRONG. SHE IS NOW READY FOR BUSINESS SONY GOOD ENDORSEMENT IS ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU FOR THE MASSIVE SUPPORT ALL THE TIME.” was the description on the photo.
This comes after May took the action of serving divorce papers on her estranged husband Yul Edochie on August 2, 2023, to formally end their marriage.
On the grounds of infidelity, she also filed a lawsuit against him and his second wife Judy Austin, seeking $100 million in damages.
Despite rumors that they had been defying the court order, Yul released a video of him dancing with Judy on his official Instagram account that same day. Rita, one of his family members, then re-iterated his court order in the comment area.
She said, “BIA BIA BIAAAAAAAAAA ODIEGWU AFTER YOUR DANCE-A-THON GO COLLECT YOUR PAPER MEK DEY MATTER FINISH JOOOOOR.”
Despite being linked to the Nollywood actor, she has consistently stated that she has supported May ever since their breakup. The star claimed that Judy was pregnant for him and took her as his second wife after the pair tragically lost their oldest son Kambilichukwu in March of 2023.
Since then, Rita has publicly defended May and stood by her.
