During its first weekend at the box office, Nigerian comedian Okey Bakassi’s latest film, Bank Alert, debuted as the most. Watched Nollywood production.

According to reports issued by the Cinemas Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) during the weekend of November 24–26, 2023. The new title launched with a gross of ₦7.6 million.
Despite being the comedian’s debut theatrical performance, the title managed to capture the interest of the Nigerian public, earning enough. Money over the weekend to land it in third place on the charts.
Bolanle Ninalowo, Kate Henshaw, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Taiwo Hassan, Uzor Arukwe, and Tina Mba are among the all-star cast members under the direction of Akay Mason.
Unexpectedly, Egun and Adire shot up to the sixth and seventh spots on the charts, respectively.
Ife Olujuyigbe’s horror film Egun, which debuted at number three on the charts last week, dropped to number three because it only made ₦2.3 million over the course of the weekend.
But after being delayed by a week from the original release date, it has made a total of ₦11,426,100 since making its theatrical debut on November 17.
With a weekend gross of ₦11.7 million and a total of ₦93.2 million, The Marvels takes first spot, surpassing The Hunger Games, which came in second place with ₦11.1 million and ₦42.8 million.
