BB Naija Star Bam Bam says she had preeclampsia and nearly lost her baby Zendaya.

In 2020, the mother of two said that she was in risk of losing her first child, Zendaya, due to hypertension during her pregnancy. Fortunately, the hospital was able to identify her condition in time to preserve her child. During a recent interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideownwo for his podcast With Chude, she recounted the experience.
We attempted to have her abroad, but there were many obstacles, so we had to settle, and the hospital we got, thank God, was adequate. “I had preeclampsia with Zendaya’s pregnancy; she had detached from my placenta by the time I arrived at the hospital. So the thought of losing her, if I hadn’t been diligent with my antenatal classes or taking my vitamins.

She continued by going into depth about the physical changes she had during her pregnancy and how they had made it impossible for her to recognise the woman she had become, which had led to a depressive mood. She did, however, commend her spouse, another BBNaija alum Teddy-A, for being there for her during the adjustments. She feels that having her baby was worth all the difficulty and adjustments.

“I would never have imagined that my body would get this thick, no jokes. I look in front of the mirror and thank God for supportive husbands like mine. Imagine I had a man who wasn’t open to the transition phases I went through with each pregnancy,” she stated.

Many changes occur throughout pregnancy.

differ amongst women. Furthermore, a woman’s modifications can differ from pregnancy to pregnancy; Bam Bam was one such example.

“What! Zendaya! I went from Maroon to black, I had skin tags, I broke out with acne, and I went from size 8 to 14/16. I was in shock. I went through postpartum depression. I was a mess. I did not understand. I literally transformed. But look at the girl. Now you understand why she did what she had to do. When she was born, I had to ask the doctor, ‘Is that my baby?’ ‘How is she so white looking?’ Her eyes were grey, and now she was looking completely white. She was a mess.

Bam Bam and her husband Teddy met in the Big Brother house back in 2018, and their love grew so much that they couldn’t let one other leave. They got married the following year, in what some have called the greatest love story of the reality program. Two stunning girls, born in 2020 and 2022, respectively, have subsequently been born to them.
