Skiibii shares his grass to grace story of life from living at Ojuelegba to lekki. Where he now owns Five Houses.

He takes it a step further by owning five homes as opposed to just purchasing one. Breathe, you wretched thing!

Skiibii revealed his “grass to grace” journey from Ojuelegba to Lekki home ownership.

The Nigerian artist discusses a wide range of subjects, including his astonishing rise to fame, in a new interview with Adesope Olajide on the Afrobeats Podcast.

Abbey Elias, also known as Skiibii, revealed his lowly beginnings by stating that he formerly resided in Ojuelegba.

He had to take up many hustles there before he rose to fame in order to survive. According to him, “My mum is proud of me, the things wey I don do.”

After his rise to fame, the singer was gradually able to afford better things in life and eventually purchased one home in the Lekki Peninsula, one of the priciest areas in Lagos State, followed by four more.

When the presenter added, “I remember when you bought the house,” Skiibii responded, “For inside that Lekki, I get like five!”

The artist continued by saying that because he has everything he needs at home, including a recording studio that generates income, he scarcely needs to buy anything other than gas.

On December 24, 2014, Skibbi signed a recording contract with Five-Star Music, under which he released many of his popular songs, including “Ah Skiibii.”

He quit Five-Star Music in 2017 to start his own record company, More Grace Music World, where he finished his first album. Since then, he has released a number of popular songs, including Sensima and Baddest lad.
