Steve Harvey claimed that Marjorie Harvey instantly captured his heart. In fact, according to an interview with Good Housekeeping, he predicted their marriage upon their encounter in 1987.
On TODAY With Hoda & Jenna in 2023, Harvey referred to it as “the best thing that ever happened to me.”
It only took 20 years and three marriages, but the couple eventually got hitched, just as Steven Harvey had foretold. From 1981 to 1994, Steve Harvey was married to Marcia Harvey, then from 1996 to 2005, he was wed to Mary Lee Harvey. Marjorie Harvey has also been married in the past.
In 2007, Marjorie and Steve Harvey wed and combined their families. The Harveys’ children today are Brandi, Karli, Broderick, Wynton, Morgan, Jason, and Lori.
The couple has recently addressed online cheating allegations that appeared head-on. In September 2023, Steve Harvey addressed reports that his wife had been unfaithful on his morning radio show.
“The wife I married is a good woman,” he declared. The best thing that has ever happened to me is she. She is a devout Christian who values loyalty, faithfulness, and kindness. I don’t give a damn what people say. And stop bringing up how she was in my previous marriage and destroyed it. Not her. She wasn’t even close to that.
Steve Harvey added, “In 2005, I got divorced. “When ‘Kings of Comedy’ came out, my marriage was done. But you guys didn’t know that, did you? Then it was finished. Back then, it wasn’t worth a quarter. We waited thus long to finalize the divorce; that is when the legal documents were released.
In August, Marjorie Harvey added a response to an Instagram post.
She wrote, “My husband and I normally don’t stop to answer all the nonsense and lies that have been disseminated about us. To whom much is given, however, must also be expected much. I am aware that I have a responsibility to those who may not be as powerful as we are because of my platform.
