In response to Naira Marley’s N500 million libel lawsuit, Tonto Dikeh announces his support for Iyabo Ojo.

After responding to the N500 million libel suit that Naira Marley had filed against her, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh took to social media to rally support for her colleague Iyabo Ojo.

Recall that Iyabo Ojo was accused by the controversial “Soapy” crooner of spreading malicious and misleading information about the singer on her official Instagram account, in a letter signed by Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Coo.

A string of remarks made by the actress in September that were deemed malicious and seriously damaging to Naira Marley’s character were also brought up by the musician’s attorney in the letter dated December 12, 2023.

Iyabo Ojo was therefore instructed to issue an apology on her official Instagram account and in a national daily within seven days of receiving the letter; if she fails to do so, legal action will be taken against her, and she will be had to pay N500 million in damages.

In response to the musician’s lawsuit against her, Iyabo Ojo stated in a countersuit filed by The Maverick Forte Legal. That she eagerly anticipates meeting the musician’s legal team as soon as possible to vigorously argue the case in court.

In her case, Iyabo Ojo also accused Naira Marley of intentionally misleading the public by failing to serve her the. Lawsuit by mail or by hand, which may have resulted in blackmail as a result, Iyabo Ojo is suing the singer for N1 billion.

Iyabo Ojo’s colleague Tonto Dikeh has backed her decision, stating on her Instagram page that she will support her colleague. And that they will fight Naira Marley to the end.
