Zendaya mourns the loss of her co- star " Euphoria" Angus Cloud.

Angus Cloud, a friend and co-star in the movie Euphoria, passed away suddenly last week at the age of 25, and Zendaya is mourning his passing.

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” wrote Zendaya in a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday. “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking about it)”

The actress wrote, “I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.” The actress recalled Cloud’s vivacious personality with affection.

In the first two seasons of the HBO drama Euphoria, which follows a group of high school students as they negotiate a world of love, friendship, drugs, sex, trauma, and social networking, Cloud and Zendaya, 26, had a lot of on-screen time together.

Their characters, Rue, a suffering addict played by Zendaya, and Fezco, a charming drug dealer played by Cloud, have a close bond that ties them together at pivotal points in the series.

Zendaya asked for compassion and tolerance for Cloud’s loved ones in her Instagram tribute, adding, “My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone.”

On Monday, Cloud’s family revealed that the actor had passed away at their Oakland home. With the recent passing of his father, his family noted that Cloud had “intensely struggled” and said, “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

Along with HBO and series creator Sam Levinson, other members of the Euphoria ensemble, such as Javon “Wanna” Walton, Sydney Sweeney, and Storm Reid, have paid respect to Cloud.
